Olympia is high-end software for Astrology professionals. But its content and ease of use, as well as its price, are deliberately in line with the expectations of less experienced people and beginners. Modern: a subscription-based module allows for artificial intelligence assistance in the analysis of astrological charts.

Some questions already raised by users :

1- Olympia was initially built and sold in France. I am American, is it a problem ? Will it work for my use ?

Answer : From the begininng of development of Olympia, both English and French languages were planned. The content of English version is correct : even if Olympia was first sold on a French website, people from all continents (and already hundreds of American or English users) have purchased it. Yes, the developer of the software is French ; English is not his native language ; however the technical content was hopefully correctly translated. Sure, some issue can still exist and some ‘words’ can be wrongly translated or badly used (also in the pages of this website). However, do not forget that the software is regularly updated (updates are free), so we can fix them very quickly. Sure, there are still some verbal awkwardness, but we will fix them regularly, in order to build the software, as good as possible for American, Canadian, English (and so on…) astrologers using Olympia.

One more word about the cities and the DST (daylight save time) : we implemented DST policy in the USA corresponding to information specific for each state and even some cities (especially during 50’s and 60’s, when the USA DST was very messy !). Olympia has a large database of cities.

To sum up : Olympia was not developped only for French users.

2- Is there an user manual ?

Answer : there is no ‘paper’ user manual. As Olympia is regularly updated it would not be possible, and too expensive for you. Each window of the software has a ‘Help’ input in order to get written information about the content of this window : what it is about, what are the buttons of the interface, what is the astrologic technique behind… Moreover, in most cases, a video tutorial was recorded and can be seen while you work on it. And a global video tutorial (1h30) will help you for the first steps with Olympia. Those videos were recorded in English.

3- Does Olympia manage different kinds of astrology ?

Answer : yes, a lot. Classic, uranian, medieval, indian, karmic… All of them are in the software.

4- Is there a professional version of Olympia and a begginer one ?

Answer : no, we deliver only one software. The content is already for professionals. Finally, you pay a small price, but you have a professional content. We do not distinguish amateurs and professionals.

5- In France, you do not draw charts as us, in the US. A problem for Olympia ?

Answer : it is true that 99% of French astrologers use astrologic charts with the planets outside of the signs (zodiac is in inner place). While in America, astrologers prefer drawing the zodiac fully outside, and planets inside. In Olympia we developped the two possibilities.

6- At which frequency is Olympia updated ?

Answer : average frequency is 1 month. Do not forget : you do not pay extra charge for un update (you only par 30$ to install on a new computer). If an update is available, when you start Olympia you will be noticed. It is not mandatory to make an update. Just better for you.

7- For my website (or my social networks), do I need the authorization of Olympia team to publish charts generated by the software ? Are there copyrights ?

Answer : no, you do what you want with charts generated by Olympia.

8- Do I need a very good computer ? Mine is old…

Answer : the only important thing is the screen resolution. You must have at least 1280×720 pixels (HD) resolution to use Olympia. Below, it will not work properly, so do not purchase it !

9- I am afraid that Olympia is too complex, I am not a professional astrologer, just a beginner. I just need a simple tool.

Answer : we indeed did not want to sell a ‘light’ version of Olympia. We wish everyone could use all features of the software, especially to discover sections of astrology he did not know before. Be aware that we deliver (for free) a light version of Olympia. This software is called Sophia Astrology. Its content is simplified if you compare with Olympia, but the core is the same. You have less buttons, less possibilities, less options, but you can do the most important. The installer is much smaller, so dowload very easy. You can use Olympia and Sophia on the same computer. So finally, with Olympia you also can get a free simple astrologic tool.

10- Can the software help me interpret charts ?

Answer : you should try and why not subscribe to the artificial intelligence module, called EgerIA. Algorithms send you texts, assisting you in the work on a chart (natal, transits, solar returns, progressions, synastry). This module subscription is as cheap as possible (the API is common for all Olympia users). This assistance is very helpful and can assist you in your work. If you prefer using your own texts, coming from your own experience and the teachings you have received, the module Python (free) inside Olympia does the job.
